Delete Your Account & Data

This page explains how to delete your Clearway account and the data associated with it. Clearway is a sliding car puzzle game published by BlackCoffeeTechnology.

You can play Clearway entirely as a guest, with no account. An account only exists if you chose to sign in with Google Play Games to use leaderboards and cloud save.

What data is deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

  • Your cloud save (puzzle progress, statistics, unlocked items, and settings stored in our cloud).
  • The authentication account linked to your Google Play Games sign-in for Clearway.

Leaderboard entries are managed by Google Play Games; you can manage or hide those separately in the Google Play Games app.

Option 1 — Delete in the app

When cloud save is enabled, open Clearway → Settings and choose the delete / reset account option. This removes your cloud data and the linked authentication account.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

  1. Email blackcoffeetechnology@gmail.com from the address associated with your sign-in, with the subject "Clearway account deletion request".
  2. We will verify the request and delete your cloud data and the linked authentication account.
  3. We aim to complete deletions within 30 days and will confirm by email.

Removing local data

Data stored only on your device (your local save) is removed when you clear the app's data (Android Settings → Apps → Clearway → Storage → Clear data) or uninstall the App.

Some records may be retained for a limited period where required by law, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to resolve disputes. Anonymous or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained.
